Hi, I’m Mallory the heart behind The Crunchy-ish Doula.
I’ve been married to my husband for nine years, and together we’re raising three beautiful children: a curious 7-year-old, a spirited 4-year-old, and our sweet 2-year-old. Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers, and every birth story I carry my own and the ones I’m honored to witness has shaped the way I serve families.
I welcomed my first child in a hospital setting. While I’m grateful for that experience, it also opened my eyes to how unprepared and disconnected many women can feel during birth. After that birth, and through the heartache of several miscarriages, I spent a lot of time praying asking the Lord to show me my purpose and how He wanted to use my story.
In His perfect timing, God answered a lifelong prayer.
After the home birth of my second son, everything became clear. I experienced firsthand the power of education, support, and trust in the body God designed. That birth changed me and in 2021, I became a doula.
My calling is to walk alongside families with open hands and a steady presence, honoring both faith and informed decision-making. I believe God created our bodies with intention and wisdom, and I also believe there are moments when medical intervention is necessary and life-saving. My role is never to push an agenda, but to help you prepare, discern, and advocate with confidence and peace no matter where or how you give birth.
Birth is sacred. Mothers are strong. And no family should feel alone in this season.
